Hi! My name is Hannah and I'm the illustrator, designer and owner behind Shy Seagulls where I have continuously bridged my illustration and marine biology backgrounds through art. My work highlights marine biodiversity through a whimsical storytelling lens in hopes of inspiring future generations to love and protect our precious oceans.

A lot of people ask why "Shy Seagulls?" because seagulls are far from shy, which is very true.

The name "Shy Seagulls" is inspired by me as an artist, where I love to connect with people about nature through art rather than vocally sharing about it :D Obviously the name is also inspired by seagulls that I have grown up with my entire life. Yes, they may be a tad bit (quite) annoying, but to me, they are the connection between sea and shores; plus they remind me to stay whimsy in life 𓅰
